Established in 1998 the aim of LIQUORICE CLARINET QUARTET has been to demonstrate the beauty and versatility of the clarinet. They play a wide range of music, from Handel, Mozart and Debussy to Gershwin, Bernstein and Ellington – playing many of their own arrangements and transcriptions. They are based in the South of England, playing mainly in Dorset and Hampshire. They have performed on many occasions at a wide variety of venues including Hotels, Charity Functions, Weddings, Anniversary and Birthday Parties, Garden Parties, Music Festivals and London’s Southbank. Their name derives from the old jazz name for a clarinet – a liquorice stick, and “we wear our colourful stripes as we love to play “All Sorts” of music!”.
The concert will include a mix of songs, storytelling, and humor. Attendees can expect to hear new material from the upcoming album. The performance will showcase Jinder’s work and provide an opportunity to engage with his music

The concerts are an opportunity to see and hear, live, established and more frequently up and coming artists, musicians and bands form a wide range of musical genres.
St Saviours see this as an outreach opportunity; to engage on a social basis with our neighbours and local community. It will help build relationships, a community spirit and in addition help with funding our many Church groups including youth and children clubs, foodbanks and other charitable organisations we support.
