The role of the media desk, alongside the sound desk, is to help communicate the week’s message and also to enhance, present, and tie together the various components of a main service on a Sunday morning, such as the leader, the preacher, and the worship group. We use a database of songs that is always growing as the music group introduce new music. If the Holy Spirit leads the worship in a particular direction, we are able to follow along and produce information instantly. If a service goes well, then we are probably not noticed, which is a good thing, and we are left feeling a sense of accomplishment and having served God.
Please do not be shy in commenting on the presentation at St Saviour’s. We welcome input on what people want to see done differently and we are interested in alternative presentation styles to our current ones.
