Teso Development Trust (TDT): Partnership in relief, development and mission

‘You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit – fruit that will last.’ John 15:16

Our management committee is due to meet again before the end of this month and on our agenda will be this year’s visit to Teso. This is an annual opportunity to meet with our partners and also see the progress of all our projects. I am hoping to be part of the visiting team and, all being well, my twin(!), Pat Smart will also be coming. If you want to join us, please consider this as your personal invitation!

Part of our mission calling is to be fruitful – more difficult to do alone, but so productive when we work together as a family, a church, committee or group.

The TDT management committee work well together which has really helped us to be fruitful. We are ever-hopeful that our harvest will increase with new supporters and donations, and through the friendship and bond we have with our partners in Uganda. Yes, the work can be unending and challenging, but always we make progress step by step and move forward. To reflect on what has been achieved so far is a real encouragement for the future. Please see the new edition of our newsletter available in the Link corridor.

Please do continue to uphold TDT in your prayers, especially as a new Bishop of Soroti is being selected, and give your support where you can. You are all an important part of this mission! More information will follow as our plans take shape.

Thank you for all that you do and for the encouragement that you give.

Christine Moyes
