Good Friday quiet reflection
19 April @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
A time of quiet worship and reflection this Good Friday.
This year will be a bit different, with some gentle worship led by Phil, some reflective readings and quiet meditation, but also a chance for us to offer to Jesus all of those things that we know need to die with him on the cross. This might be past sins, current fears, hurts, things said and done to us that have held us captive, illnesses, pain, shame, or doubts.
For those who would like to, there will then be a chance to bring a ‘Letter to Jesus’ in which you have expressed all those things to him and sealed it in an envelope. We will then burn these letters in a bucket at the foot of the cross in the prayer garden. This can be a freeing and releasing experience and a great way to start a new journey with Jesus as we celebrate Easter.
