SUMMARY:Sunday Morning Service
DESCRIPTION:This service has something different going on every week. It is always relaxed and welcoming. Everyone gathers together to worship\, and then children and youngsters have the opportunity to go out to their own age-related groups. There is also a soft-mat area in church with a few ‘quiet’ toys for little ones\, and a separate crèche room with a wider selection of toys and a television link to the service. Or you are welcome to grab one of the play bags of ‘quiet’ toys for your child to use during the service (available just outside the crèche room). To find out more about our children’s work on Sundays\, see here. \nThe service gives time for vibrant worship\, reading from God’s Word\, prayer and ministry\, as well as biblical teaching. Communion usually happens monthly on the fourth Sunday\, and baptisms are also a regular feature. \nUp to 200 people go to this service and it generally finishes by 12 noon. Coffee\, tea and biscuits are served in both the Link and the church after the service\, and this is a good time to meet others and find out more about the church. Fruit squash is also available in the Link.

This service generally lasts about 30-45 minutes\, and all are welcome. \nhistorically this was a Sunday morning service which met before our main service but for the time being this service is meeting on a Wednesday morning instead. It often follows the Book of Common Prayer (1662)\, which is loved for the beauty of its language and the contemplation and quiet it provides. \nUsually we gather in the church’s choir stalls. This service generally lasts about 30-45 minutes\, and all are welcome. \nhistorically this was a Sunday morning service which met before our main service but for the time being this service is meeting on a Wednesday morning instead. SUMMARY:Sunday Morning Service
DESCRIPTION:This service has something different going on every week. It is always relaxed and welcoming. Everyone gathers together to worship\, and then children and youngsters have the opportunity to go out to their own age-related groups. There is also a soft-mat area in church with a few ‘quiet’ toys for little ones\, and a separate crèche room with a wider selection of toys and a television link to the service. Or you are welcome to grab one of the play bags of ‘quiet’ toys for your child to use during the service (available just outside the crèche room). To find out more about our children’s work on Sundays\, see here. \nThe service gives time for vibrant worship\, reading from God’s Word\, prayer and ministry\, as well as biblical teaching. Communion usually happens monthly on the fourth Sunday\, and baptisms are also a regular feature. \nUp to 200 people go to this service and it generally finishes by 12 noon. Coffee\, tea and biscuits are served in both the Link and the church after the service\, and this is a good time to meet others and find out more about the church. Fruit squash is also available in the Link.
