Update on Teso Development Trust, Partnership in relief, development and mission
Dates have now been set for this year’s visit to Teso, Uganda by the Trust’s Management Committee and flights are booked. I will be part of the team of six which leaves the UK on 10 October.
We have a full programme of visits to many of our projects to evaluate progress and ongoing needs. As always, it will be a joy to take part in church services and visit the people in their home settings. That we can support and encourage our partners and their field workers is always a priority. There is something truly wonderful about long-lasting relationships that root, strengthen and bind us together.
If you feel able to support the visit to our Deanery link in any way, the team will so appreciate it. Please:
- Pray for our planning, good health and safety in travelling
- Donate towards the cost of the trip (we are self-funding)
- Ask me about items to donate such as easy-reading glasses, children’s games, pens and soap bars
