‘Share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.’ (Hebrews 13:16)
As we look around at the beautiful colours of autumn, it’s hard to believe that another year is nearly over. As churchwarden, I’ve been amazed by what a busy church we are. Life at St Saviour’s is never boring! Of course, none of this could happen without everyone working together. Could I thank you for everything that you do – the small acts of kindness to others are just as important as the larger tasks. We have so many within our church family who work so hard and faithfully behind the scene,s as well as those who are in the limelight. As the body of Christ, we rely fully on each other.
As we approach the time of Advent and Christmas, there is still a lot to do, so let me encourage you to continue in your life of discipleship, both in your financial giving as well as your life of service. We are ordinary people, but we have an extraordinary God who can use us in a multitude of ordinary ways to achieve extraordinary things.
I was listening to the radio this morning and ‘The Lord of the Dance’ was played. It was a timely reminder about who we are doing all this for. Jesus will lead us all wherever we may be – “I’ll lead you all in the dance” said He.
Please come and chat to me or one of the leadership team if we can help you in developing your dance steps!
