I love ice cream! On a recent trip to Italy, I managed to force down a whopping 10 scoops in only six days! I started thinking about how the Open Link is a bit like ice cream … every day a different flavour, with something for everyone.
I think of Monday as being a luxurious, rich chocolate flavour, as the warm welcome you get on a Sunday spills over into Monday morning.
Tuesday has an international flavour, and always has added extras as the crafters reach for the jewels or glitter. Maybe that’s an Italian gelato with sprinkles and a flake?
Thursday’s flavour is a family favourite … classic vanilla. Occasional visitors mingle with coffee drinkers who have been with us since the Link first opened, and maybe join in with a game of table tennis.
During August we are only open on a Thursday, but please do drop in for coffee between 9.30 and 12.30. We will be back to all three days in September.
