Following all that ‘taking it easy’, St Saviour’s is excited to announce the return of Alpha in the Autumn term beginning at the end of September.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each week looks at a different question around faith such as ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’, and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: delicious food, a talk or short engaging film, and informal discussion.
You may already be a believer wanting to understand more, or perhaps you are simply interested to find out about Christianity; why not come along? Perhaps you have a friend, neighbour or work colleague you could invite?
Or maybe you’ve done an Alpha course before? Would you now like to help in some way? Here are some ways in which you could help … leading or helping in a group, setting up, catering, praying … please do speak to me as soon as possible if you can – thank you!
